Engine & Gearbox Replacement

BG Landrovers is able to undertake engine and gearbox replacements in all variants of Defender, Discovery, Freelander and Range Rover vehicles. Remanufactured engines obtained from Land Rover, or a very select panel of companies who specialise in remanufacturing Land Rover engines &; gearboxes. &; This gives customers peace of mind in the knowledge that any replacement engine will carry a full 12-month warranty covering both parts and labour, whilst allowing unlimited mileage. Similarly, the same applies if gearboxes or other drive train units need to be replaced. However, any gearbox fault will be assessed to establish whether it will be more economical to strip and repair any problem with your existing gearbox prior to proceeding with any replacement work.

Our charges for replacing engines, gearboxes and other drive train units are very competitive, so if you are unfortunate enough to require these services, please contact us to discuss the situation and obtain the cost of repair. We will undertake the work as quickly as possible to get you back on the road in the shortest time.

Tyres

One of the most important items on any Land Rover is its tyres. BG Landrovers can supply and fit a full range of tyres to suit both on-road and off-road driving. When you need replacement tyres please contact us.

MOT Repairs

All vehicles can be fully prepared for MOT Tests. BG Landrovers can undertake any repairs, including welding that may be necessary to pass an MOT inspection. We are now able to offer ” mot tests” on the premises.

Air Conditioning

All air-conditioning systems can be fully serviced and repaired. We are also able to service the newer vehicles fitted with the R1234 ryf gas.

Parts & Accessories

A full range of genuine parts & aftermarket accessories available for fitment within our workshop. We also offer a trade parts service with delivery to all garages locally.

Wheel Alignment

Our workshop is now equipped with the latest ” 3D” four wheel alignment system to ensure your vehicle steers and handles as it should also optimising tyre life.

Collection & Delivery

Most customers benefit from our collection and delivery service, which is FREE (subject to certain distance restrictions). Vehicles can be collected from home, or workplace. A loan vehicle can be provided, subject to availability.

Our Promises

All servicing and repair work is carried out strictly in accordance with Land Rover specifications, schedules and procedures.
Genuine parts are always used on vehicles under warranty.
The very latest diagnostic systems are used to check vehicles and diagnose any faults (see Diagnostics page).
All servicing work is undertaken to fixed price menus.
Should additional work be required, the customer’s authorisation will be obtained before proceeding and will be carried out to an agreed price. Customers are encouraged to come and inspect the reason for any additional work required before commencement.
All work is fully guaranteed.
